Scope: the supplied reference code does not set cookies, save tracking identifiers or store contact drafts in localStorage. This page explains that code; hosting services and any separately supplied consent interface may have their own behavior.
What a cookie does
A cookie is a small item of data stored by a browser and associated with a website. Cookies can support essential functions or optional purposes such as analytics and advertising. Similar storage mechanisms, including localStorage, can keep information on a device without being cookies.
What these pages use
Navigation and workflow tabs
The menu and selected stage are held in page memory. The reference scripts do not deliberately preserve these choices after navigation or reload.
Contact preparation
The note is assembled in the browser. Copying places text on your clipboard; downloading creates a file at your request. Neither requires a tracking cookie.
Site assets and caching
Your browser may cache pages, images, styles or scripts to make later visits faster. A cache is not the same as a visitor-tracking identifier.
Optional processing and consent
No optional analytics or advertising script is included in these reference pages. Reading a guide, using the menu or following an internal link is not treated by this code as consent to optional tracking.
If a separate consent control is provided with the deployed site, use that control to review or change the choices it manages. This static page does not itself change a separate service's settings or claim to remove server-set cookies.
Browser-level controls
You can inspect and remove cookies and other site data through your browser's privacy settings. You can usually block third-party cookies, limit site storage or clear cached resources. Menu names vary by browser and version, so consult the browser's current help documentation.
Clearing site data does not necessarily erase copied text, downloaded notes, emails or browser-synchronized information. Manage those separately in the relevant applications. A browser may also restore form fields according to its own settings.
External documentation
Visiting a linked manufacturer or standards website is a separate request to that service. Its cookie and storage practices apply there. No external documentation page is embedded into the supplied guides.
